Arriving by car? The lodge gate is opened with an access code sent for your day of arrival — you’ll receive it with your booking confirmation. At the lodge gate, simply ring the intercom.

Getting here
From Johannesburg or Pretoria
- Take the N12 (from Johannesburg) or N4 (from Pretoria) to Emalahleni, then continue on the N4 to Mbombela (Nelspruit).
- From Mbombela, follow the R40 to White River and on towards Hazyview — about 40 km. Stay on the R40; ignore your GPS if it suggests the R538.
- Drive through Hazyview and turn left onto the R536, the road to Sabie.
- After 1.2 km, look for the Abangane board on your left. Turn left onto the dirt road at the board and open the gate with your access code.
- Follow the dirt road for about 600 m to the lodge gate, and ring the intercom. Welcome — the kettle’s on.
